Near the time of your loan's transfer to Valon, you'll receive communications from your previous servicer and from us explaining the transfer and providing details about your loan.
Goodbye Letter
Before your loan's transfer, you should receive a goodbye letter (notice of servicing transfer) from your previous servicer—this letter includes details like your official transfer date.
💡 Tip: If you received a letter from Fannie Mae notifying you that Fannie Mae purchased your mortgage, this letter is not your goodbye letter.
Welcome Communications
Here's what you can expect to receive from us.
Pre-Transfer Letter and Email
A week or two before your transfer, we'll send you a pre-transfer letter and/or email introducing ourselves and explaining the timeline of your transfer.
Welcome Email
On or shortly after your transfer date, if we have your email on file, we'll send you a short welcome email with information about your loan (including your new Valon loan number) and resources for setting up an online account.
Welcome Letter
A few weeks after your transfer date, you'll receive a formal welcome letter from us containing important information about your loan and its transfer. This letter will also have your Valon loan number and explain how to contact us, make payments, update your insurance, and more.
